Refunds & Returns

We take immense pride in the craft of our spiced mango sauces. Please review our refunds and returns protocol below.

General Policy

All items purchased from our online shop are subject to the conditions outlined below. Because our sauces are consumable food products, we adhere strictly to South African food health and safety regulations alongside the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

Please retain your proof of purchase (order confirmation email or transaction invoice) for any return, exchange, or refund query.

Eligible Returns

You may request a return or replacement within 7 days of delivery if:

  • The bottle seal is completely unbroken, unopened, and in its original condition.
  • The glass bottle or packaging arrived damaged or broken during transit.
  • You received an incorrect item different from your ordered items.

Non-Returnable Items

Due to health and hygiene guidelines for artisanal food items, we cannot accept returns or issue refunds for:

  • Any bottle where the safety seal has been broken or opened.
  • Sauces that have been partially consumed or stored incorrectly after opening.
  • Custom gift packs, wholesale sample packs, or items marked as clearance.

Refund Process

Once your return request is received with supporting photo evidence (especially for shipping breakages), we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your claim.

  • Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days back to your original payment card or bank account.
  • Original shipping/courier fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., incorrect item sent).

Exchanges

We are happy to exchange unopened sauce bottles for a different flavor variant in our range, subject to stock levels. Exchanges must be initiated within 7 days of delivery, and the customer is responsible for the courier cost of returning the original item and shipping the new item.
